Who are we ?
Techniplast, a French SME based in Normandy since 1988, was founded by two technical engineers, Ivan Poullain and Jean-Philippe Lamboux. Initially experts in the design of pumps and packaging for the perfume industry, they worked in the design office of Valois (now AptarBeauty) and then in the design and manufacture of complex injection moulds. Their expertise and passion for innovation quickly translated into significant technological advances.
Techniplast was soon called upon by major packaging manufacturers to design and develop new concepts, mainly for the perfume, cosmetics and even pharmaceutical industries. Based on its experience in industrial mould making, Techniplast offered the design and manufacture of test and industrial moulds before becoming a fully fledged industrial production company.
A pioneering leader in rechargeability
In 1992, a significant turning point was reached when Thierry Mugler brand approached Techniplast to design a revolutionary solution for perfume refills, leading to the creation of the first perfume refill fountain.This enduring partnership laid the foundation for a visionary path for the company, propelling it to become the industry leader in refillability for perfumes and cosmetics. Since then, Techniplast has developed a range of innovative, custom-made fragrance refill solutions for prestigious luxury brands, transforming the customer experience both in-store and at home into a sustainable and responsible one, and establishing its position as a leader in the field.
